The invitation has been sent for whales to make their annual pit stop on their northern migration on Sunday, July 7, to join the celebrations at the Norah Head Lighthouse. In its 14th year, the Whale Dreamers Festival will treat visitors to a day of entertainment, live music, food, games, guest speakers, art, marine conservation displays and, of course, whales!
Created by a passionate group of locals the festival brings the community together to raise awareness of the plight of whales, hear about their wonder, raise funds for conservation and research projects about whales, and to actively participate in their conservation. As an icon of the Central Coast Norah Head Lighthouse provides a stunning backdrop for the friends and community to come together. Bring the family along for all the free entertainment and activities. The cost is free, but a gold coin donation is welcome.
