Pindone Baiting of Rabbits
Closures: No closures, however it is advised no pets for safety precautions during this time
The NSW Biosecurity Act 2015 is built around shared responsibility between government, industry and the people of NSW working together to protect the economy, environment and community from the negative impacts of animal and plant pests and diseases, weeds and contaminants. Wild Dog Management Ltd works with landholders across the region to control the threat of pests and disease through coordinated compliance activities. These are essential to protect both our agricultural industries and natural environment and focus on sustainable land management that enhances productivity while reducing impacts on soil and water resources.
Wild Dog Management will be laying down Pindone Carrot baits on the Reserve between the 20th April and 4th May 2021 for the control of Wild Rabbits.
The poison to be used is Pindone which is mixed with an approved bait type (carrot) for the pest species.
Please restrain all domestic pets at this time.
Signage will be erected around the Reserve prior to and during the baiting procedure.
